In the nineteen twenties and thirties, with banana skirt and smart smile, Josephine Baker made not only jazz music internationally famous. At that time, there was also a dance which - due to Josephine Baker - brought reams of people from New York to Berlin inexorably to their knees: Charleston!

Christopher Just is now presenting the 21th century Charleston. Because for the Vienna musician Charleston is disco, disco hi-hat and hi-hat Charleston. Nippy, elastic and with the distinctive trumpet hook, he focuses on the characteristics that fueled his hits Popper and Disco 128 successfully: the dancefloor. Because it's time that everybody, while listening to the sound of clacking copper, is brought to his knees again - just like it was at the time when Josephine Baker let the sparks and her bra fly.

The vocal mixes are by Larry Tee from New York, who has written club-music history as producer of RuPaul's hit "Supermodel", and Mel Merio, founder of the Vienna band Menstruation Monster.
